MUESTRA Problemas irresueltos / UnsolvED problems
Se puede ser artista de muchas maneras. La forma que yo encontré no siempre fue el camino de la materialización de la obra. Conjugan- do siempre el deseo de fomentar una escena a la par, la obra fue muchas veces relegada.
Las características emergentes de nuestra escena provinciana se antepusieron sendas veces hasta esta muestra en que le di lugar al proceso de construir un discurso material y estético, evidenciado finalmente en el espacio.
El lugar elegido fue el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Salta por ser éste un lugar de pertenencias, de resignificancias y por ende de resistencias. Un espacio de exhibición en tu ciudad de nacimiento es mucho mas que una institución dedicada a las artes, es un lugar donde ejercer ideas específicas, situadas, vinculadas al contexto, un espacio para compartir con los pares una época.
Esta muestra marca un precedente en mi trabajo como artista y también es una piedra preciosa arrojada al futuro, la cual marca una trayectoria a estrellarse en los escaparates del arte local y de mi propio trabajo. Me siento parte de una sociedad que ansía diferen- cias sustanciales en las formas de estar y participar en el mundo y esta muestra significa para mi un aporte a ese mundo ansiado. Es mi forma personal y comprometida de contribuir a la ampliación de sentido de este territorio para volverlo mas habitable.

You can be an artist in many ways. The way I found was not always the path of the embodiment of the piece of art; in the interest of develop- ing a scene at the same time, the piece was many times overshad- owed.
The emerging characteristics of our country scene, were put ahead a number of times, until this exhibition in which I gave rise to a deep and moving process of constructing a material and aesthetic discourse, finally evidenced in space.
The place I chose was the Contemporary Art Museum in Salta, mainly because it gives me a sense of belonging, it is a place of re-signifying, and therefore a place of resistance. A space of exhibition in your city of birth, is much more than an institution dedicated to art, it is a place where you can pursue specific, situational and related to the context ideas; a space to share a particular period of time with peers.
This exhibition sets a landmark in my career as an artist and it is also a gemstone thrown to the future, which sets a career path intended to crash into the displays of the local art, and against my own work. I feel part of a society that desires substantial differences in the ways of being and participating in the world, and to me, this exhibition means a contribution to that desired world. It is my personal and committed way of contributing to the enlargement of sense of this territory to make it more liveable.
